Marc sat down with me, and we discussed the difficult conversation that I needed to have with my father. He understood my point of view and helped me to understand my dad’s point of view.

He then went back to his office and built a PowerPoint presentation about how he expected the conversation would go, and gave me advice on what should and should not be said. This also prepared me for what my dad was likely to respond with, and prepared me to make the difficult conversation a lot less difficult. I felt prepared to just go get it done.
